automated call telling me there has been a suspicious foreign currency transaction on my debit card for £600 (strange its exactly £600 in a foreign currency!!!) and that I should press '2' to speak to a customer service advisor. Pressed '2' to see where it would divert me and went straight through to a foreign call centre.
Called to say I was in an accident, to which I have been and when I told caller I am already pursuing a personal injury claim via another solicitor/company and my employment company had claimed for the vehicle damage they just kept asking questions so asked to take my number off data base and hung up

Rang me twice. When I picked up they said it was from Curry’s PC world, saying they had a promotions for phones and asked what phone I was using now. I said I wasn’t interested, and they hung up without saying anything else. It was quite hard to hear as their environment was loud, sounded kind of like a call centre in India. I’m not a Curry’s shopper so I doubt the legitimacy of this, probably a scam.
I have had over 40 calls from these people on their new number 0161 939 7225. These scammers are trying to get you to claim PPI and will not take no for an answer. They called my mobile a month ago and I strung this chap along for over 8 minutes since it was a landline to mobile call, thinking that they would pay a lot for the this scam call.
