Far Eastern accent, and as soon as I asked him to repeat who he said he was calling from, he hung up. I dialled the number with the prefix 141, but it did not ring out. Clearly a SCAM. Unusually for me, I then dialled the number without the prefix, and that also did not ring at all, even thoigh I had checked that my line was open. AVOID

Telephone call from 07979 752324 at 10:23 on Thursday 23 March. Female caller requested one minute to ask personal questions. Replied "no", however female caller carried on speaking. Did not answer any questions. Believe caller fishing for personal information in order to start some type of fraud. Female caller then terminated call, so number then blocked immediately.

SCAM A female agent called me with Mobile Phone = 07428693956 at 12:02 pm identifying themselves as BT Customer Services and Security. They said their engineer was working on the line and detected an extra IP address registered at my location. Now BT customer services never ring outbound on a mobile, plus IP addresses are allotted by the router and not by the user. Nothing to worry about. A fireman offered to install smoke alarms in town the other day & left them at my door as I wasn't in, and just wanted to check that I'd got them okay & if I'd installed them. Really good considering it was free.

Every time you phone this number it rings once then goes on to engaged tone I think what they are selling is a scam took my money in January no goods received and no response from them.
