After three calls yesterday about the same thing, all from crooks saying they were from Talk Talk, this man had rung to tell me my router had been compromised, though I did not pay much attention to what he said was wrong with it. I told him what a bad line it was and got him to repeat several times. He said he would call another time but I told him not to bother. I said I knew who it was calling. My husband has had this number come up on his phone saying his vodaphone bill not paid, when I checked it had been. Wanted payment details which he wouldn’t give. So yes a scam.

I have blocked their number so it doesn t ring but I still get a message to tell me that they called. I have had 10 calls from this company in the past 3 days.

I recieved a call which I missed off this number last week and got a call back today. I answered the call and all I got was 18 seconds of silence before I ended the call. If they re scammers you d think they d say something!

Called asking to verify my name & address, they had both wrong, so then wanted my name & address. I asked why but this Indian or Pakistani kept waffling & would not say why, so I hung up. Next time I shall use a tuning fork over the ear piece, so it explodes his end!

Car accident claim scam-mongers, probably a robot, female voice, said a company name so quickly I couldn t catch it. The opening speech was along the lines of I m calling because you were in a car accident that wasn t your fault, is that right? . Said no and put the phone on one side - call ended after 23 seconds, but at least it was at their cost. Am registered with TPS for this mobile, so will report and block.

£99 for a call blocking device!!!!!!! You can buy a suite of phones with Call Blocking for that price. The words 'rip' and 'off' come to mind.

Phone pretending to be from E-on wanting to know who our new supplier was, but as E-on already know that he was clearly a scammer just fishing for information. A very aggressive foreign man who thought if he repeatedly demand information we would give it to him. Googled his number whilst he was on the line and numerous reports of him being a scammer and not E-on.
