Pretending to be Three mobile - was rude and abusive when I told them that I was taking three to court due to previous levels of service, so I knew they would not be marketing me and that this is a scam. Asian call centre using UK phone numbers. BEWARE!

They're trying to: flog you something; get you to sign up to something; indulge in a fake survey based on some government scheme and always quick to reassure you that they're not selling but simply: enquiring; surveying; etc. JUST HANG UP.

Scammers. An indian man called saying he is from Sky broadband and needs to check something about the security of the connection. He asked if I had an android phone where I could download a specific app (TeamViewer QuickSupport or AnyDesk Remote Desktop). If you install these apps they will try to get remote access to your phone and will steal everything they can. Just hang up and report the number.

The error message suggested I called a helpline (number stated 020) said to be Microsoft Security. I rang, lady answered (Indian/pakistan accent) lots of noise in the background, she wanted me to depress the windows and the letter R key on my laptop. was evasive when I asked what would happen. Another Bank Security scam, usual thing, recorded message about 2 transactions on card (no card specified) and press 1 or 2 to deal with it. I spoke to Asian sounding chap in what sounded like Call centre, he insisted not a scam but was Visa security! These people need dealing with!!!!
