SCAM called offering for my business to be featured in a publication which will highlighting legitimate local businesses and rogue traders (hopefully I fall into the former). Asked if I'd like to be featured as their "(my profession) of the year" for a fee, when I questioned it they hung up. Initially claimed to be from a crime monitoring unit, which was odd since they called from a mobile number.
They have rang 2 days following. 3 times today.

They're weird, rings our office 3/4 times a week and no one speaks. We don't recognise the number and its not a local code. They don't say anything just hang up after about 5 seconds.
The chap called me and said he had a missed call from me to his mobile number. I have not called anyone today. So no clue who he was or what company he was from.
A definite scam, pretending to be from O2 but couldn't even get the brand name right - kept saying O2 mobility.
SCAM. Do not press anything to contact them.block this number now. I got a recorded message from this number saying £900. Is going to come out of my bank. I hung up and contacted my banks fraud line. The message has nothing to do with the bank. Please stay safe. Do NOT ring the number or press anything to cancel the transaction.
Do not know this number. But it contacts at least twice a month.

Call centre. Had the wrong name. Hung up claiming a wrong number had been dialled. Now blocked.
Male voice, indian accent. All I could understand was "I am calling you today......... mam". I asked him to speak slowly and clearly, he repeated the garbled content and I told him I didnt understand and needed him to speak slowly. He hung up. Sounded like a typical phishing call. Sad he hung up, I like to play them along for a while just for my entertainment and waste their time.

I rang the number back it’s about PPI saying I had money back in 2019 I told the lady I didn’t receive any money and to remove me from their database She started to raise her voice asking why would they do that when I had received money! I told her I had NOT received any money and to remove me from database. She started to speak I cut her short and said these calls should be removed remove me immediately and hung up. think this is a scam as line was crackly as anything and said someone was trying to take money from my account £1,000 and £324 but could not make it out clear enough to hear what options one and two were

SCAM . Clearly coming from a call centre. Stated his name was David (Asian accent), and that the call is about my Microsoft account. I have been plagued by similar calls in recent times, and as my landline is quite new, only a handful of people actually have been given this number, therefore any unsolicited calls are clearly SCAMS
This is a scam and the caller was quite rude and derogatory on the phone.
