Sounded suspect to me from an unknown company wanting to talk about my broadband. Took ages to respond when I answered which usually means they are calling multiple numbers and then nebulous about answering why they were calling. Be wary.
When they ring , they always get me out of bed, when i look at the number on the phone screen its very close to my area number so i answer , then there's a delay while it clicks and connects to a different part of the world and then a foreign sounding lady always mis- says my name with a long eee at the beginning and there is an office noise back ground . When i'm asked if i'm Mr eeeee i always say no and put the phone down - clearly a stupid scammer . They buy a set of BT block numbers and when you answer

SCAM Fraud Call center Just called me claiming to be from Sky, wanting to speak to me about my Broadband. When I told them I know this is a Scam call, as I don't have Sky Broadband, they hung-up, so obviously a scammer. It was an Indian-sounding woman, from a call centre, so could well have been coming from India etc, with the number spoofed / redirected to blocks of UK numbers being resold to places like that.

02032894834 called me (foreign Asian voice) Claimed to be calling to do with my using the Windows server. They had my home address, and landline phone number. I told them I was not interested and had no problems with my Windows PC. I ended the call without listening to what they wanted, so can’t be sure if a scam (likely they would tell me PC/Windows needed attention, as many similar types of calls are reported) They may have something to sell, but cold calls are not something I listen to.

I randomly got texted by this number saying "Hi, there." at 11:18, which was weird at first but then I texted "who is this?" and I haven't got a response yet. This website says it's an EE number but I don't get why they would say "Hi, there." with no reason of texting me, if anyone has any idea of who they might be, please tell me.

Claimed to be from the FCA about a frozen bit coin account. I challenged him to prove he was from the FCA and give me a number to call him back on. He didnt give me a number but tried to say he could prove he was from the FCA bu searching their site for a reference number - the ref number linked to a real person but not someone who worked for the FCA. 2022.07.18 at 13:37 my phone showed ‘International’, with the number 0049 1375 381293, which looks like it came from Germany (0049), but with a local code that was the same as my own ((0)1375)... anyway a recorded message claimed it was from 'bank security', that two large withdrawals had been made on my account, inc one from Amazon, and that I needed to press a particular number to speak to them. This is obviously a SCAM and an ATTEMPTED FRAUD..
What an insistence, it turns out to be boring.
I received an unsolicited call today from this number. The caller hung up as soon as I answered. I did a quick search of the number and found several scam alerts. Be aware and don't answer calls from numbers you don't recognize.

Very rude. Very bad. Wouldn’t tell me who was calling. Just wanted me to confirm my name with a yes or no. When I would not say yes or no and just kept asking who was calling, she said well you can piss off! and put the phone down on me. Don’t ever say yes or no on the phone - they record it and use it as approval for trying to get into accounts etc.
