Silent call. Received a call from (07458 148209) on my mobile, although very few people know my mobile number. When I managed to answer there was nothing to be heard from the caller's end so I assumed it was some dodgy scammer. This was a recorded message from a number purporting to be a bank (which bank not specified) and telling me that 2 dodgy transactions had just been recorded. One payment to Amazon, and one international payment via an unspecified website. Obviously crap, but a potential cause of anxiety nonetheless.
Confident English-sounding voice rang, recorded message, saying two amounts of money were to leave my account, expressing concern that they were fraudulent. Told me to dial 1 to find out more. I did not. Sure it is a scam.

Received a call from this number, answered and received an automated message saying my Amazon account had 2 large orders using my card and they didn’t think it was me. It said press 1 for yes it was me and 2 for it wasn’t. Automated message supposedly 'Bank Security' regarding two recent payments made by card....1 to Amazon for £300 and the 2nd an International payment of £1000+. The usual crap is then given re pressing 1 or 2 depending on how you want to proceed. Complete load of rubbish. I get regular calls from a variety of numbers all exactly the same. They want shooting!
