SCAM call from someone suggesting he was from BT and seeking access to our broadband to correct a fault as they had been receiving lots of alerts and that our IP address was being used in the public domain. On calling back, i got an automated message saying that this number had not been recognised.
This number is portraying to be a legitimate Travel agency, they have cloned and fraudulently used their credentials. Please DO NOT in any way deal with them. The genuine company has reported the Fraudsters to Action Fraud thanks to a member of the public. Many thanks The genuine company

I was called at 12:30 while eating my lunch, it was a woman saying she was an energy advisor in my area. When I said "sorry what company are you from", she rudely hung up! Obviously a fraud as I live near ther south coast not in the area of Blackburn.

Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. When I checked 10 minutes ago, *this* service said there had been 16 searches in the last 10 days. Now when I've returned 20 minutes later it says there have been 20 searches. Automated call, has rung me 3 times (05/05). I rung back and it and nothing. Has now rung me twice this morning 09/05, I managed to pick up the phone, heard a very loud call centre in the background, and whoever called me hung up after a couple of seconds. Number is now blocked.
SCAM Claimed to be from the post office about a package that had insufficient postage. When I asked for a name and number to call back on they hung up.
This number called me this morning 10.02 am. What appeared to be recorded message told me that they were speaking from Visa and my card had been used to place an £800 bet in the USA, if this wasn't me press a button on the phone. I hung-up without responding and have confirmed this was not true, another scam.
