This is a scam number the called my uncle pretending to be from Amazon saying that they had taken £95 from his account by accident and if he gave them his details they would refund the money. He is an elderly gentleman and went straight to the police as he doesn’t have Amazon prime, the police called the number but it doesn’t accept incoming calls surprise surprise. SCAMMERS

Domestic and General asking me if I wanted to have breakdown cover for my fridge freezer and cooker as well as my washing machine ( which I currently have). A bit insistent when I said no, and asked why so when I said ‘because I don’t want to’ she ended the call. It was quite a friendly manner but as above, quite pushy. 14th Feb 2024 at 1148 - Call claiming that our loft insulation was reaching the end of its warranty life (20 years) and they would like to inspect it - when I told the man that the house was not built 20 years ago and that we did not have a loft, the man rang off immediately.

Number came up on my phone as "Jack the box" (not promising, but also means they've listed themselves as a company I believe). Offering a competitive rate on my bushes electricity. I didn't believe him but told him he could email me the offer and I'd review it. He called back briefly afterwards to ask my name (which he spelt so wrong that I didn't correct it!) The man with an Indian accent claimed that he is from Virgin media but asked if I'm with Virgin. When confronted being a scammer, hanged up.
It rang me multiple times within minutes but then just hangs up. when you call the number back the IVR crackles and it only gives you 2 options to speak to someone of to press 9 to remove your number from their call lists. I choose the 2nd option and then minutes later they rang me again.
