SCAM- said I had been in a road traffic accident when I asked where they had got my details from they asked me to wait and someone else came on the phone. They told me the same. I asked where they had got this information from and they asked my why I needed to know. They refused to tell me and when I asked what details they held about me they put the phone down. So pleased I found this site as I have had nearly 6 weeks of totally random calls from these parasites. Generally they hang straight up but really disgusting language used this afternoon. I phoned my provider and they have blocked the call their end and shown me how to do so on my phone which was surprisingly easy. Definitely worth calling your provider if you re as fed up as I am.

I was called from 0121 554 8370 who claimed to be from virgin media stating that my internet had been highjacked from outside the property. When asking the caller questions she was not able to provide adequate information so I ended the call as I became suspicious as the questions they would have knowledge of by looking at our account details. If this was a genuine call from virgin media, I suggest they have the details of the account in front of them before they make the call.
