Got a call relating to a credit card payment from my account, I think it's some kind of a scam because my credit card provider has never called me to confirm a payment from my account.

Missed call Rang me x 2 on WhatsApp but didn’t leave a message. Strange that although my phone was right by my side it never actually rang, so must assume it’s a scam of some sort as the number should be 01 something if it’s a land line in the UK or 07 something if mobile in the UK.

This was the first time there was an automated call at the other end purporting to be from HMRC asking me to press 1 because I hadn’t replied to them so they would start legal proceedings. Kate from "Driveway Centre" phone out of the blue. I asked her who she was & why she was phoning me. She sounded agitated & asked me how old is my driveway. I told her I didn't understand why she was phoning & where did she obtain my number. She said my number has been sold on a list. I then hung up.
Calling regards to tax refund from HMRC also asking about claiming tax back from PIP benefit. Didnt answer, i called back, they already knew my name. Dodgy people.

This was from a rude and abusive man with very poor English who claimed he was from carphone warehouse and when I said I wasn't interested he said he was also a police officer and was going to find out where I lived and beat me up, he was screaming abuse at me. This was entirely unprovoked as I am a very polite pensioner who never shouts and swears, I would recommend everyone to do as I have done and block this number.

Called us asking to speak to our Google Ads account manager. Stated they were calling from Google ads team and that she was the Account Manager. They asked to speak to 2 people by first name, none of which work at our company. Unsure on this one.
Utilities They said they were from BT. Starting asking about my internet. Asked if I had given my password to anybody other than family as during the times of midnight to 2am there has been unusual activity. All sounds a bit dodgy. I hung up at that point.
