I live in Mold and having a number of calls this week from 01352 so called Mold numbers 751600, 757977, and 756353 all VISA or LLoyds Bank Scams about ficticious debits from your account. When you question them they hang up.SCAM

SCAM Message popped up on my laptop stating that it was in danger of being hacked and had been temporarily blocked. The error message suggested I called a helpline (number stated 020) said to be Microsoft Security. I rang, lady answered (Indian/pakistan accent) lots of noise in the background, she wanted me to depress the windows and the letter R key on my laptop. was evasive when I asked what would happen. SCAM A possible scam, they say they are calling from visa, say detected some suspected transactions from your account and request your full name and birth date. I did not give.
Ethnic gentalman offering Medic alarm personal system for free when challenged suddly came up as only £39. 00p per month for 1st 6 months (Not exactly free) try to confuse me with medical science I am a retired Paramedic so when I presented some possible medical situations using medical words the phone went silent. DO NOT fall for this as the system he was offering is free under NHS for vulnerable.

There was no-one answering for 5 seconds then there was a beep and computer generated voice said goodbye. Weird call.
Fraud This number was used to attempt a PayPal "fake payment invoice" scam/fraud. My customer received a fake PayPal receipt for Bitcoin and the "support" number they gave prompted multiple callbacks from this number. They will "refund" a bigger amount than the invoice says, then plead with you to get the overpayment back. Once they have your cash, the original "refund" vanishes from your account. Be warned!!

Received an automated cal from this number, saying that my Visa account had had two £300 withdrawn by Amazon, and a further £1000 by an overseas account, then asked if I wish to verify it. Just hung up
SCAM. Legit No. Obviously spoofed and being used by a bank scammer. Call opens with the 'Your account has been debited £X thousand' gambit. THE LEGITIMATE OWNER OF THE PHONE NUMBER IS NOT INVOLVED IN SCAMMING.
Rang my mobile which was in other room so rang off before I could answer. I rarely get spam on it as very few people know the number. Wondering how these got hold of it.
Legit. Checks out with what is listed on the HSBC UK website. Though the call quality was very bad. Also, you know it's a genuine bureaucratic banking process when they ask for 10 different details to confirm your identity. I swear the support lady could just identify theft the hell out of me at this point.
