ASIAN SPEAKING MAN SAID HE WAS CALLING FROM MICROSOFT IN READING AND SAID MY DEVICE WAS COMPROMISED BY HACKERS USING MY DEVICE ID NUMBER, HAVE HAD CALLS LIKE THIS FOR A FEW WEEKS AND EVERY CALL IS A DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBER SAYING THE SAME THING.

Put another person on the phone when she got flustered, male then started asking me my security question, what model of phone I had, mt network provider was etc. SCAM - avoid!! Comes up as suspected spam. Guy with an Indian accent said he was calling from a South African call centre on a Manchester landline! Claims he works for a company called UK Tariff that finds out if you're paying too much for your broadband or finds better deals. Thing is this so called company harasses with calls like 24/7 from different numbers most of the day. Hoping you're gullible enough to get to the part where you hand over your bank details. Best way is to report and block if it flags as spam.
Said was from housing repair and I had reported a problem to to them. I did not.

When I asked again what company it was she said Just Glass. I Have seen this name mentioned adversely in other reviews. Told her this and hung up.

Suggests they are from your bank (but they don't tell you which one because they don't know) Informs you by automated call that large transfers have been made out of your account (which is rubbish). Yet they called my nans old landline which I wanted to keep when they house was sold following my uncles death so I had it redirected to my phone. I know this is a scam as they used my uncles name and he had been dead since 2020 so there is no way his computer was sending them any reports
