Code behind button was nor ebay. The email today errors were: 1, Not a genuine From address for ebay. 2. "Dear customer" instead of my name

The exact number was 01340 831714. After searching it here, I called the number back. It has a BT call screener on it. A Scottish sounding older lady picked up the phone. I told her my name and said I'd had a missed call from her number at 7:47am this morning (3-3-23). Her reply? "No, not me, no you haven't" and then she put the phone down. I've been receiving calls from UK numbers even though I live in Spain and have never lived in the UK. Every time I pick up the call they simply hung up, so now I simply decline the call and add the number to my black list.

Many have been missed calls and the rest I let ring out. I rang back and they all have had an answering machine with the same female voice putting me in a queue and at no point saying who they are. Whoever they are, they have the ability to have or create many numbers. They get blocked and move onto another number and call back.
SCAM - Do not, I mean do not deal with these people. They are scam artists. I just had a call from them pretending to be O2 and I also received a code to access the website that they were obviously going to ask me for. Never ever give out this code. I do work for VM O2 and we never ask for codes from people.

SCAMwas phoned by this number at 1.17 pm today. it was a recorded message stating that my Amazon Prime account was about to --at this point i hung up. I rang the number, it was a gentleman who hadn't a clue what was going on and clearly, his number appears to have been taken over without his knowledge. He thanks me saying he will contact his phone provider to sort it out.
