I keep getting annoying calls from this number. I picked it up but there was no sound at all..

Phoned once. Answered it but didn t say anything. Girl asked for me by name. I made enough noise that she knew someone was there and waited a minute then hung up. Half an hour later, a man called. Joe. I said "You re coming up as a nuisance call on my phone. Why is that?". He identified himself as Joe from a company called Clear Answer working on behalf of EE. I said "I won t speak to you until you provide me with your company number from Companies House". He went quiet then tried to give me "01482489010"

Called number as thought it might be important, recorded message says nobody available to pick up call but holding me with music! They do not identify themselves which alerts my suspicions. Just posted the comment above and would like to add that I have reported this matter to the Police and BT and want to urge people not to fall victim to this. The Police have investigated it and have said it is a scam. - Be warned.

Differant number but still on bloody PPi crap. They should go round to there H.Q. and remove all there computors and call equipment and take them outside and drive a road roller over ot all and flaten it all.If they want to carry on they will need new equipment so that will help trade in IT equipment and keep on doing it till they stop pestering people at home who don,t want there calls.
