Received a call stating from British Gas with regards to my boiler cover. Advised that I will be covered for £22 a month and asked for my sortcode and account number. They also advised that if I had any issues with my boiler I should call the freephone number which was 01202 138 752. When I advised them that I work for British Gas Services which I do they hung up. I lady called me saying she had frozen a transaction from going to a offshore account in China. The currency was bitcoin. This was odd as these transactions go to a bit coin wallet then to a debit card that is registered on your account. She did no DPA to verify that I was the account holder. Then she wanted me to download a app I refused so she asked if I have a pc or laptop. I said pc she wanted to screen share. I would do no such things I told her then hug up.

SCAM: The number 08000478737 is on a letter supposedly from Trading Standards saying a wine investment company I have shares with has gone bust. The letter comes with an Insolvency Service form to complete regarding my shares, and that i must complete it in order to get full value of my shares returned. I must telephone the number to give the answers. Except, the wine company hasn't gone bust & Trading Standards don't send out these kind of letters.
