Pretending to be from Carphone Warehouse, quickly hanged up after I made them aware I'll be recording the call.

01425402443 Has got to be scammers. Number unknown to me. Called my landline today. Pre-recorded message with Female american voice. Said that my Bank card had been used twice today and if it was not me gave me the stale ring 1 or ring 2 options. Have not called them back and have no intention of doing so. Beware are SCAMMERS after Bank details.

Phoned me and played a computer recodred message which claimed to be from my card provider, without telling me who they were. Told me that there had been suspicious transactions on my account and tried to get me to speak to them. I hung up and checked with my bank who told me that nothing of the sort could have happened. Fraudulent telephone call. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!

Fraud Text from this number claiming to be from Evri and that they had failed to deliver a parcel this morning because "since nobody was home". Hmmm since my car was on the drive and the hall light was on and my wife and I were both here I would dispute that claim!!! The link they gave for re-delivery was obviously a scam, it said that £1.99 was due for re-delivery and then continued and asked for my credit card details!!!! Beware folks. SCAM Came up as Congleton on my number . Said he was ringing fro Three ( although might not be as his English was awful ) talked about a £40 voucher bla bla bla . Just said no thanks and terminated the call . Dam nuisance these type of calls .

This is a scam caller. They will know your name but don't verify anything nor give them any information. They are based in India.

Fraud: 09011490180 has been billed by Virgin Media as 3 outgoing calls from my Landline but my wife and I have not made these calls. The calls were apparently made on the 18th of April at 11.03, 11.18 and 11.40 with each call lasting exactly 11.06 minutes costing 35 pounds each. So far Virgin Media have refused to investigate these calls and demand payment. It is obviously some king of scam, which should be highlighted as soon as possible and safeguards put in place!

claimed to be a banking/card support team (automated voice), didn't say which bank or card provider though. Phishing for details.

They offered me a 40% discount on my EE bill. I checked with EE and its a scam, nothing to do with EE. They ask some personal questions (which i refused to answer) then send a generic email, Subject 'EE Upgradation' (im not even sure that's a word, is it) saying Welcome to EE, etc, etc. I hung up and suggest you do the same.

Call centre spam / scam. Said she was from a company called MEA (I think). Claiming there was an issue with a life insurance policy, so there would be a problem with a payout. I don't know the company or have a policy with them.

Called us trying to get us to “renew” a care plan, and only wanted our bank account details so they could send us renewal details. Claimed that “under GDPR, they could not retain those details”. Said that as soon as they got those details they would call back and verify then send details. Kept trying to “explain”. When told it sounded like a scam, they transferred me to another person. If this number contacts you about a "recruitment", it's a scam. Do not engage. And certainly don't deposit any money into their service, you're not getting it back.

Crypt currency scam, they say you have Bitcoin on deposit with them and want you to reactivate their account to withdraw your deposit.

Caller ID identified the call was from Bishops Stortford. The caller said he was from O2 offering a 30% discount on my tariff. I told him I was suspicious of this call, he diverted me to another person who repeated the discount spiel. Asked why I'd be getting a discount, he said many complaints to O2 has led them to offer 'selected customers' a discount; I wouldn't have to give him any personal details, he would send me 2 texts. so I told him to sod off and disconnected the call. Reported to the ICO

Call made from a number of different numbers, but all are 020 3634 xxxx. Nobody responds even when I pick the call - this has happened more than 5 times to me. Each time same thing. Plus nobody picks up if I call that number. Seems fraudulent if not anti-GDPR!

'Domestic Appliances' fake warranty scam. These people call repeatedly from multiple spoofed numbers and are relentless

Think it's a scam. Claimed to be from my bank reporting suspicious activity. It's called twice in the last few days.
