Hard to understand person, strong foreign accent, claiming to represent O2, yet calling from a number on the Three Network. Lots of background noise, sounded like either a VERY busy foreign call centre or an open air market! Seemed at a loss when asked for proof that she really represented O2. Possible scam.

I received this call yesterday and it appears to originate from Meriden, Conneticut. I automatically ignore these sorts of numbers and block them. However, I'm being inundated with these calls on a daily basis and it's so frustrating as they will keep calling you but from a different number!

Scam concerning fibre glass roof insulation. When told that I had not had installed insulation in the last 20years hung up.
Called asking to verify my name & address, they had both wrong, so then wanted my name & address. I asked why but this Indian or Pakistani kept waffling & would not say why, so I hung up. Next time I shall use a tuning fork over the ear piece, so it explodes his end!

Had a few calls today from this number, the last one just now at almost 11.30 at night. Can t say what I would do to them given a chance. That s not just a nuisance (non) call, how dare they ring so late at night? Something really needs to be done. We are on the telephone preference list, and that seems to no longer make any difference. These disgusting excuses for humans should be prosecuted and locked up forever.

Phone pretending to be from E-on wanting to know who our new supplier was, but as E-on already know that he was clearly a scammer just fishing for information. A very aggressive foreign man who thought if he repeatedly demand information we would give it to him. Woman with strong Asian accent claiming to be from Opus Energy. As with other reports, claiming there was an error with MPAN number affecting the meter reading. Hung up and she called back annoyed and demanding to speak to the person responsible for the electric supply. Sadly for her that was me. In the current circumstances with energy companies going to the wall we can expect more of these pond life creatures creeping out from under their rock. Scamming scum.

Frequently have these calls from Asian sounding men and women who become quite aggressive when I ask why they are ringing, told them we have registered with the TPS and to take our number off their list but to no avail. This time I told them know one of that name at this address and they just asked if I was sure. Will be interesting to see if we get any more! Why hasn t someone tracked this number down and charged them with harassment calls?
