These people want you to think they are from Visa and say that a large amount of money has been removed from your bank account (they don’t mention either your name or the name of your bank or any bank) unless you contact them immediately. It is a recorded message but it is a scam. And they are persistent. This is the third day in a row around about the same time each morning. It is clumsy but people may be taken in.

Said he was called Jack from BT Business Head office and he could do me a better deal than by Local BT Business office. Jack, you seem to be the only person working for BT Business as you are the only person making these sales calls, for such a large business!!. I don't believe this is BT as you can see in other searches Jack seems to be the only person making these calls, probably to gain information about your business. He didn't get any from me. Possibly dangerous.

This is a scam pretending to be virgin media. Rang virgin and it isn’t their number. Problem with broadband router … nope not happening they don’t ring you they await a call from you at virgin

Fake call pretending to be Amazon so that they can find out where you leave your parcels when not in & also check if you are home! I would be very wary!

Male voice, indian accent. All I could understand was "I am calling you today......... mam". I asked him to speak slowly and clearly, he repeated the garbled content and I told him I didnt understand and needed him to speak slowly. He hung up. Sounded like a typical phishing call. Sad he hung up, I like to play them along for a while just for my entertainment and waste their time.

07477140852. Had 4 calls today from 074771..... This was the first time there was an automated call at the other end purporting to be from HMRC asking me to press 1 because I hadn’t replied to them so they would start legal proceedings. Obviously a scam but worrying as I contacted the HMRC yesterday regarding tax relief and HMRC are one of the few organisations that use my number on a phone that is only used for verification purposes and not my main phone number used for day to day stuff. Scammed me out of £600 for flights , Tricked me into thinking i had a flight booked. I was also daft as i did a direct transfer (stupid i know) , Said his name was Raj , another guy phoned me called Satish saying he was the manager . Tried to get more money out of me and get my card details . Whatsapp shows it as a business account (Travel Agency) but anyone can register whatsapp as a business account with no proof (which is so wrong). I have reported to whatsapp . Please Don't get scammed like me.

SCAM Text message apparently from the Post Office, about being unable to contact me about a parcel. (No card through the door, no parcel expected.) I had to open a link contained in the message. My virus protection app notified me this number was suspicious and I should not open the link, but delete the message.

I believe this number to be a scam to gain access into a fictional Bitcoin account. Eventually, you will be asked to part with money to access an account that is supposedly already meant to belong to you. this is a SCAM!! Avoid at all costs!!
