The guy did not jntroduced himself and went straight to asking for my card details. Asked them on why did they call my number in the first place, their response was to ring the number at the back of my card for any issues. Lol

Twice when I picked up the phone the line went dead. The third time, a lady said something which included the words "Tax refund" but, despite asking her to repeat herself several times, I could not make out anything else she said as she had a very strong foreign accent. So I blocked the number.

He laughed down the phone at me and called me ignorant for not wanting to discuss how I could make money. I got a call this a recorded message saying that it was from HMRC and they had sent a letter to me which had been returned to them and they were about to start a prosecution against e and I should press the 1 keg to speak to an agent. I immediately hung up. This is an old scam which is apparently still doing the rounds.
I answered a call from this number, and heard a male at the other end of the line with the sound of other people in the room. He didn’t answer immediately, and after a short while asked if I could hear him, to which I, possibly foolishly replied “Yeah, yeah”. The phone was not put down at his end, but there was no reply when I tried to communicate at which point I ended the call.

Missed call Rang me x 2 on WhatsApp but didn’t leave a message. Strange that although my phone was right by my side it never actually rang, so must assume it’s a scam of some sort as the number should be 01 something if it’s a land line in the UK or 07 something if mobile in the UK.
Same person who called one Aberdeen number (allegedly!) called me saying his name was "Nigel" from Carphone Warehouse. Asian accented and probable scam as when I asked him which branch of CPW, he immediately terminated the call. Criminal scam!

The Indian caller I could not understand the mentioned very quickly a company name that was illegible and they made up a reason for me to call them back so they could discuss, I’m guessing this is when they try and either scam you or sell you something you don’t need
SCAM A real live person, female, said she was calling from Microsoft (from a Medway number!?) and asked if I was the main user of my computer. I laughed. She insisted this was not a scam and asked what was funny. I said I was surprised this scam was still going and asked if she couldn't get a proper job. Again she insisted it was not a scam. I laughed again. She then said ok, she would block my computer. I asked what she was going to do. She said 'shut up!' and hung up.

I think this is a spoof number as it is a not in service number and does not leave a message on answer machine. This number cannot be contacted.
