Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. Just called me regarding an attempted transaction to John Lewis. Said my account was ‘under attack’ and there had been several suspicious transactions. He said he would escalate my case to Level 3 fraud, set up a new account number and sort code with a random generated name. Phoned Santander fraud department who confirmed my account was safe - the scammer then called me back ‘No Caller ID’! so I told him in no uncertain terms that he was a scamming bastard and he could go forth and multiply.

Scammers. They say they are from Blockchain.com, but they want you to put money on a dormant account so you can reactivate it and take the whole amount from the account. These people used 56 different numbers to call me, but I keep them on a string and let them lose their time so they cannot mislead other people in that time.
Seems to be a number that is dialled by the subscribed to "fall" alarm installed. I use the call button to cancel false alarms. Annoyingly this is a premium number in my phone package.
