Miss No idea who. Not Crewe phone number. Is Crewe area code, spoofed number. I ignored call. No voice message left. No text or email received either. Similar numbers have called before and I don't answer as end numbers after 01270 are not from within Crewe itself. I know as in Crewe myself. Scammer/Junk: Said he was from EE and said they had a 35% discount, which is odd because I had just upgraded with EE. Then asked me how much I paid on my last bill, to which I said 'well if you are EE you should know' - Upon which he got sheepish and hung up. Caller ID says it is from Bodmin. This is not someone from EE yet are touting themselves as if they are, as such this is fraud.

If the number is exposed, they just generate a new number and continue scamming people in the US. the actual number is mirrored to a us number to hide it's origin.

Sounded suspect to me from an unknown company wanting to talk about my broadband. Took ages to respond when I answered which usually means they are calling multiple numbers and then nebulous about answering why they were calling. Be wary.
This number called and asked for me by my first name. When I asked who was calling he hung up. I have blocked this number- definitely dodgy if he won’t say who he is and why he is calling.
