Call regarding supposed unsecured debts. Claimed to be from Citizens Advice or similar sounding name. Knew my name but couldnt tell me anything about the supposed debt I have so I said I wasnt interested. Scam call...avoid.

This number called the day my elderly dad s house was burgled. My dad has dementia and insists the two are connected, which basically screwed up the investigation and the burglars, who stole his TV, got off scott-free because the police couldn t get any sense out of him.

Asked caller to take me off calling list. Was then told to SHUT MY MOUTH GET SOME MANNERS. It is disgusting that these cold calling people can get away with stuff like this.

Called claiming that it was their job to review my life insurance as it hadn t been reviewed in a while. Pointed out that a) its not their job and b) I d like to know where they got that info as I am a financial advisor and I take care of this myself! She got aggressive and rude so hung up. It's a company called First Contact by Utilita. I was called on my mobile and they hung up. A return call revealed they were a call centre and I have now blocked the number.
