Automated call system - took them 20 seconds to respond. Caller admitted it was a PPI call. I requested to be removed from their list. I rang the number back twice but only got through to a stupid "voice message"

SCAM Said they are a credit agent trying to recover an outstanding student loan. Told her I never had a student loan as I didn’t go to university, I went straight into full time employment when I left school. She then got aggressive demanding I pay now or else. So I said I’m handing your number to the police and I have recorded the conversation. Then she swore for a few seconds then hung up.

The scam comes when checking some details he wants to know how to spell my surname (it’s not a hard one). I asked him to spell it to me & I would confirm if he got it right…..surprise surprise the line went dead…

I answered the first phone call and it was about insurance I didn t need. When they called me agAin, I blocked the number. I have just checked my list of blocked numbers and they called me 14 times within a weeek. Complete waste of time
