I was called today by this number. They said they were calling about my internet speed. They couldn't give me my account number but knew my name and address. I said I would call my internet provider myself so they hung up on me..I treat all these type of phone calls as a scam..

SCAM Missed call left me voicemail couldn't understand most of what he said but I did pick out the words capta and invoice, it came through to my work phone so I checked with my manager and she told me to ignore it

SCAM Message popped up on my laptop stating that it was in danger of being hacked and had been temporarily blocked. The error message suggested I called a helpline (number stated 020) said to be Microsoft Security. I rang, lady answered (Indian/pakistan accent) lots of noise in the background, she wanted me to depress the windows and the letter R key on my laptop. was evasive when I asked what would happen. Stopped the call, turned laptop on & off, messages disappeared. Call rec'd from 01158881064

A definite scam, pretending to be from O2 but couldn't even get the brand name right - kept saying O2 mobility.

Man with strong Indian accent calling himself "Daniel", claiming to be calling from "Microsoft Encarta" and saying that hackers had infected my PC, so he'd need access to it. A complete criminal scam. I told him I needed to go and get my computer, then left him waiting for ages until he eventually hung up. Number now blocked & reported to ICO.

Received an automated cal from this number, saying that my Visa account had had two £300 withdrawn by Amazon, and a further £1000 by an overseas account, then asked if I wish to verify it. Just hung up

This is a cold caller first thing in the morning, asking what i had in my loft. Denied being a cold caller or nuisance caller. Saying i would benefit from this call. Which i understand to be against the law to do un the UK. I demanded to know where she got my details from. She said it was from the.. P.. Somethinf data base company.. So probabky paid for it.... I answered a call from this number, and heard a male at the other end of the line with the sound of other people in the room. He didn’t answer immediately, and after a short while asked if I could hear him, to which I, possibly foolishly replied “Yeah, yeah”. The phone was not put down at his end, but there was no reply when I tried to communicate at which point I ended the call.
