Man calling about a medical pendant. May have been harmless but he was very evasive when I asked where he got my phone number (we're not on any lists and don't get cold-called much). SCAM call from a company Estate Plan (not to be confused with legitimate company Estate Planning) about care home fees and if I own my own home. I simply put phone down and blocked number. Guy was very well spoken, good English but came across as very forceful/aggressive. Beware of engaging in any conversation.
Rang about water supply -- intimated we were paying too much. When asked how they knew what we paid, started to bluster and said if I told them, they'd let me know if they could find a cheaper alternative.
This evening while I was at home I received the following text from 07719055214. “Simon attempted to deIiver your parcel today but no one was home. To reschedule a new deIivery date, visit: https://fedex-gb.com” This is a fake email address. The real Fedex website is https://www.fedex.com/en-gb/home.html The people sending texts from this number are Scammers committing Fraud.

Claimed to be from Vodafone. Said a SIM swap had been requested and wanted to check this was correct. I said it was not correct. He then said he suspected my account had been hacked and that he would sent an SMS with a code which I had to read to him. The SMS came from Vodafone and had a code with text reading 'this code gives access to your account, do not share it'. The caller was a scammer and wanted access to my account. I hung up.
This is a scam company selling beds and furniture. They delivered a bed to me which was wrong, took money and drive away. Now blocked and not answering any calls. Beware

I asked him to speak slowly and clearly, he repeated the garbled content and I told him I didnt understand and needed him to speak slowly. He hung up. Sounded like a typical phishing call. Sad he hung up, I like to play them along for a while just for my entertainment and waste their time.
Persistent. Would not say why he was calling. Asked for my details to check with his records.
