I had several calls from the company Web Security Experts with regards to renewing computer security, saying that 4 years ago I paid a membership fee, which I have no knowledge of knowing. They have threatened to take money from bank account. I searched from email and other correspondence from them but cannot find nothing. Karim called at 14.26. Asked why I'd cancelled my appointment for this evening. Apparently I'd emailed to cancel at 10.47 because my partner has covid. I haven't sent any emails or got any appointments. It must be a scam but I've no idea what he planned to get out of it, maybe if the story fitted my circumstances he'd try to get a cancellation fee off of me. The worrying thing is that he knew my full name. I can't think of any way that could happen.

Fraud : An automated message claiming to be from HMRC and claiming to be initiating legal action against me. An Indian accented call centre worker then asked how she could help me and I spoke briefly before she told me to shut up 3 times and ended the call.
Called regarding a shares account, tried to convince us to allow access to our computer. Refused shared access and she agreed to send the web address to access the account, tried to convince us by sending another $350 we could withdraw our account balance of $700 Absolute scam.

They didn’t even know my name and I’ve been with them for 20 years….jokes, but they did say they can confirm if I give them my email address….I don’t think so pal, they must of thought I was born yesterday, and I clearly stated to them I think your lying and prove yourself. Of course they couldn’t answer. Don’t trust ii, it’s a scam if I ever saw one.

01223-937615 called to say my bank account has had suspicious activity.....etc. this is the second time I have had this call. now both have been blocked but I'm sure I have not heard of this Asian scam group.
A 'heads-up' for yet another scam. Today so far we have had three calls on our land line, apparently from "banking security", an electronic type message as such, saying we have pending a £300 payment to Amazon and a £1100 international funds transfer, press 1 to pay or press 2 to cancel.

SCAM claimed to be from Vodaphone billing. I have never been a Vodaphone customer. I hung up immediately.
This is a scam pretending to be an Amazon call centre as they had our email and then changed our Amazon account password, that generated an email to us with an OTD code. The scammer then wanted us to give him that code so they could take over the account. DO NOT GIVE THEM THAT CODE AND HANG UP THE CALL AND BLOCK THE NUMBER

Automated call Although not in my address book, number came up on my phone as being from Eastern Avenue Baptist Church and showed the address of 119 East Raod, Dagenham, Romford RM6 6YJ Automated message said I was being investigated and if I did not make contact with one of their officers, my National Insurance number would be withdrawn and then asked me to press 1 to speak to someone. Felt suspect.

Scam call querying bank transfer to Amazon and another account.
SCAM Mobile phone spam / scam / fraud. Scammers pretend to call from Currys Mobile department. They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!
