This Liverpool number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with insurance marketing (accident chasers), but I have found no info about company behind it, did someone answer it (without immediate hunging :) ) and spoke with some real person?
Answered to about 15 seconds of silence followed by a high pitched 'beep'. Clearly a machine dial phishing for active mobile numbers-blocked
Supposed HMRC contact ring back before our solicitors get in touch etc. If that was the case would have received a letter or even email, not answered and not returning the call.

Was called by this number early in the morning with an automated message regarding an Amazon Prime subscription I had not renewed and was going to be charged £95 because of this oversight. I could press one number to speak to an adviser and another to contest it. I did neither as it was clearly a scam. Interesting that this was a landline - it makes me wonder if they forgot to press 'number withheld'. Would think this could be investigated

Accident call centre based in india. They called and i had them talking for 10 minutes about the fall I had at McDonald on the wet floor that was been mopped at the time. I fell yesterday and hit every step breaking my neck and back and also got the mop handle stuck in my eye that had been left on the steps. They said they were pleased to say I am entitled for compensation and will call me back! Waste my time l'lI waste there's
