SCAM received several phone calls via WhatsApp demanding payment for providing a service befor anything would be done. Lady admitted was of German origin and was ringing from Bournemouth. Payment was to be via PayPal or Amazon gift cards only, on refusal became more aggressive.

Was called to my Swedish number, said "I don't know what company x is". Got the reply "well we let you into great trading oppurtinities". HMRC scam. They first called off a mobile number, I answered hung up & hung up after hearing a recorded message saying that I had committed fraud & to press one to speak to someone or I would be arrested. They then called back on this number to be verbally abusive towards me. HMRC would not do that! Block every number they use. Total scam. These people need to get a life & a proper job that contributes to society in a positive way.

It's the 'the warranty on your washing machine has expired' scam. They will ask you to set up a direct debit, hoping to get your bank details. Quite persistent. If you play gormless and keep them talking you will stop them phoning someone else!
