After three calls yesterday about the same thing, all from crooks saying they were from Talk Talk, this man had rung to tell me my router had been compromised, though I did not pay much attention to what he said was wrong with it. I told him what a bad line it was and got him to repeat several times. He said he would call another time but I told him not to bother. I said I knew who it was calling. Had this a few time - thought is was TRJ but must be SRJ asking if I was NAME press 1 if not press 2 then can you bring NAME to phone 1 yes 2 no then please ask NAME to call. When they called next I pressed 1 and got "you will be put through to next available operator - she asked was I NAME and I said "Actually I am not there is nobody of that name at this address" - she said she would take us off their list - whether that happens or not remains to be seen

I ve asked them to remove our number (we re on the TPS). However you can see they keep calling.

So pleased I found this site as I have had nearly 6 weeks of totally random calls from these parasites. Generally they hang straight up but really disgusting language used this afternoon. I phoned my provider and they have blocked the call their end and shown me how to do so on my phone which was surprisingly easy. Definitely worth calling your provider if you re as fed up as I am.
