Silent call on answer, rang the number back, got an American female recorded voice about online appliance servicing and to leave details to be called back. Had to ring twice to work out what the recorded voice was saying as it was spoken quickly, to the point it seems designed that way to mislead. I suspect these are some kind of call-back scam. This was a scammer who pretended to be from BT talking about illegal access to your broadband.!! That's rich!! Hacked my bank account and Amazon a/c. It took ages-up to 5 days to clear this mess up and it leaves a sour taste in your mouth. If someone had asked me last night if the death penalty was appropriate for scammers, I would have agreed. Now thinking about it castration without anaesthetic would be better.

An Asian gentleman called apparently on behalf of a company called Housing ???. (Couldn't understand the second part of the company name). Claimed that they helped tenants with repairs like mould etc. He knew my name, but didn't seem to know much else, seeing as I am not currently a tenant anywhere

Pretending to be from Amazon and saying that I had a £900 transaction taken from my Amazon account and wanted me to follow their instructions and put a code in my phone I told him to call me back in 10 minutes as my daughter would be speak to him and she works with the police he hung up. I did know it was a scam that’s why I said it. I just feel sorry for the people that they do trap as they are scum. If you don’t No them hang up. And don’t give them any of your details.

Unknown number calling a TPS registered private number. It is one digit different from 01226666737, Gamma Telecom Holdings Ltd calling with a driveway scam that has been pestering my home number recently and may be the same.
