Was called this morning about 10am was a recorded message, saying we need your authority to pass payment to amazon of £500, and also about a £1000 that needs authorising, the recorded message was crackling and hard to hear all but i just hung up. then did 1471 to see who it was as they made out it was my bank wanting authorisation.

This number has rang me twice now, the male on the other end says, you have just rang this number. Yesterday I told them no I haven't and they asked who it was, so I asked who they were. They said you rang this number and I reiterated I hadn't and they said you have, so I said no I haven't and told them to go away and put the phone down. Today they said again you have just called this number, so this time I told them to get lost and put the phone down. I don't know this number possible new scam going on

SCAM call. Phoned twice today claiming to have supplied my card processing terminal.
Believe that this number could be associated with Bank Payment scams. I had an automated call from the bank stating that they has identified to suspicions payments against my account and would I confirm 'yes'; or 'no'. When I confirmed that I knew nothing about them I was put through this number which was answered by a man who gave his name as a Paul Butler and stated that he was a member of the Bank Fraud team. A comment he made got me suspicious and I rang off/blocked
Scam (Debt) kept the guy occupied for 15 mins giving him fake details from my end, he was insistant it wasnt a scam but when i questioned where he was and that i could hear bengali in the background he turned nasty calling me every bad name under the sun. if it is not a scam why get so rude. Just got a call from a so-called O2 representative with a clear Asian accent. They asked me to confirm my billing amount. As a precaution, I ended the call and decided to report this as a potential scam. Stay vigilant, folks!
I'm getting calls on a daily basis. I never answer and always block however, each call is a slightly different number. I've even had 3 different numbers ring me within one minute as if someone is desperately trying to get hold of me!! Don't fall for that one! If you don't know the number and it's important they will leave a message,if they don't it's not important is it? I did have one message left one day there was just a load of swearing going on in the background then it cut off.consider them Dangerous!

Silent call. I answered the call, saying hello several times. Nobody answered, then the call disconnected. Number is supposedly from London area and there is no reason why anyone from there would phone me.
I received a call from this number from an automated system telling me that my debit card had been used for unrecognised transactions and to press 1 to authorise or 2 to speak to my bank. My suggestion is that you do as I did and ignore it.
Hand up as soon as I picked up the call from this number.

SCAM Unusually, this was actually an English person on the other end of the phone rather than a call centre setting from India etc! The number rang my works mobile at 10:05 09/05/2023. The person on the other end spoke very well and professional, saying that they were calling from HSBC, and were making me aware of activity in my account that looked suspicious, that money was being taken out by an advertising firm. When I pointed that out, he pretended he didn't have access because a different department has access to such details. He did NOT greed me by name. IF he would have been legit, he'd have my name and know who he was calling.

Claiming to be EE feedback call for my mobile. Epic fail on so many levels not least their shitty VOIP. OFCOM need to shut down the routes used by fraudsters not leave it to sites such as this to highlight their scams.
