Man with good English African voice, knew my first name and claimed to be from my property repairs. Clearly he was a liar as he had no connection to my area nor the my property ownership.
Rude and could not pronounce my name and when told said "that is what I said" then hung up...moron and he woke me up as I am on night shift..moron

This was the second call from the criminals in a few hours, after no less than four yesterday (all using different fictitious numbers). I answered, but as often happens only a few crackling sounds could be heard, followed by dialling tone.

Claim to be BT. Ransomware scam - stating a required 2 week broadband disconnection, due to a router fault (makes change from PC that they usually say) allowing other people to access our network - unless certain software is installed to fix this!
