SCAM Presume it's a scam. Called by them several times in the last few days without anyone speaking. Today someone started to speak but hung up as soon as I started to instruct them to remove my number from their call list.

Call from agent for EE, which I managed to get them to verify as the number on my phone came up as possible fraud. My broadband/TV Box price has now been frozen by them for 18 next months, (EE previously sent me warning it would be going up at end of contract date) and a free upgrade to super-fast broadband, from fast. Constantly ringing from different numbers including this one. Right pain!!
Scam. Automated message stating that £600 had been taken from a Visa or Mastercard in the last 15 minutes. Press 1 to continue. Pressed 1 to get another automated message to be told I was being transferred. Transferred through to what was obviously a call centre. I only did it out of curiosity as I knew it was a scam. Wanted others to be aware.
I got a robotic call from HMRC claiming that I am guilty of tax fraud. On the HMRC website, this is listed as an example scam call.

Automated call to say that there had been fraudulent activity on our bank account. Then gave 2 amounts. £250 and £1000. (or so).from Amazon. We have had 3 similar calls in the last 3 days. All from different numbers. No money has gone from our account and no bank name was given and therefore I presume that it was a scam.
