I answered, a man was on the other end, claimed to be a part of a pension plan scheme, I never paid to on, opted for one, nor did my previous employer contributed to one on my behalf, told the man this in answer to his questions, he thanked me for my time and said bye. That was it, but the fact it was unsolicited, made it seem like a scam.

Fraud. Pretend they are from AMAZON and fraud had occurred. Get you to check your IP address (DO NOT TELL THEM IT!!!) then get you to download an app that would then allow them to remotely take over your phone. Hung up on me whilst I was asking too many questions. Tried to pressure me saying they couldn’t hold on to the fraudulent payment much longer. How do they sleep at night.
