My mum recieved a call advising her that she needed to call back as she had committed tax fraud. For someone of 82yrs old, it is worrying.
Very dodgy guy called through my wife s number trying to get to me having emailed her and not me first. An obnoxious guy called Graham Hamilton wouldn t give the name of the company. Google them to see their practices. They re based in Glasgow and there are dozens of reports of them scamming and intimidating people. Don t even answer the phone to them.
This is one of several telephone numbers this company (DCS?) use. They call saying that the file from a recent accident (and they know some of the details) has been passed to them to make a personal injury claim. I rang our insurance company following the call and they had no idea of this. Then when the person called me back (you can't call them back - the line is blocked) they became extremely aggressive and rude and putting significant pressure on
automated voice told me i may be entitled to a grant for a new boiler. Hung up before wasting too much time
Fraud- said they were from Three and was offering a 40% discount- wanted my memorable password
