Keep getting calls from the Manchester area starting 0742. Either silent or automated.

Said that according to their records I had done "industrial work", I said that I had not and that they said that in order to be taken off their records I had to tell them what work I had done. I declined and they hung up without a word. Got the impression they wanted to cook up a compensation claim or suchlike.

Same as with others Asian woman pretending to be BT. Told her to get a real job. But how do these scammers get a BT number in the first place?
