Scam. Saying in an automated voice there is illegal activity on this internet connection we are going to disconnect you..
despite telling them i was not interested in anything they offered me and i had registered my number with the telephone preference service i could not get the woman from this company off the phone, i ended up having to put the phone down on her, talk about persistant, very annoying.
Claimed to be calling from Microsoft service department. Clearly a fraudulent call.
An Indian accent man asked me to confirm that my Hotpoint washing machine was OK. I told him I knew about this fraud and to **** off.

Man with Asian accent said they were upgrading the TPS and asked if I was still getting nuisance calls (which I am, obviously!) then he wanted to confirm personal details with me. I didn t let him get any further than confirming my phone no because it sounded very dodgy
