I didn't say anything when I picked up, and the call went silent
Well I answered, it beeped and then went blank, I said hello again and then an automated voice said goodbye then hung up so I am still non the wiser

SCAM / SPAM Trying to flog me a new boiler on monthly payments
Called and said from BT, indian blokes, problem with my Router, took me through some stuff which showed my Router had warnings,but I think somehow they got onto Team Viewer, at the end said BT owed me £404 and wanted me to check my Bank Account. I was quite suspicious all the way through and said I would check on my phone, I was convinced they could see my screen. He desperately tried to talk me out of it but I banged the phone down, turned off my Router and reset and removed Team Viewer from my computer.

Called my wife today. Indian gentleman called Rick. Same spiel as previously reported. Why doesn t BT put these people off-line. BT must be aware of this scam but choose to ignore it as they make money out of the scammers calls. Get your finger out BT!!
SCAM - This number sent a text purporting to be from DVLA stating I had overpaid car tax and was due a refund. Surprising since my car tax is at zero rate! Link included presumably for bank details harvesting.
