Landline from Manchester area - previously I have seen many numbers from this area belonging to some call centres. I have had repeated call about 10 per day from the same number, 2 types of calls 1. as per above , that i owe money on credit cards 2. that the government has set up an scheme where they are freezing monthly interest payments on CC or store cards and if you have these cards you can just make a monthly payment to them instead . as i am a financial advisor i keep them talking for ages (appearing to be a bit non financial) after all it runs up their phone bill, then i wrap them in knots using my knowledge,

SCAM / SPAM Had a call from 01216487023 on May 18th 2020 Caller claimed to be from a visa company saying there had been 2 suspicious purchases totalling £1800. They didn't know my name , address or postcode. I told them i'd check my banking app as it shows transactions immediately. The caller said they won't show up , which is why they were calling. I said i'd check anyway. They hung up. Always check first
