Company called Shenco, wanting to talk about "cash rebates" from "the government". Called asking for a director who is a 20 days a year non-exec director, and claiming to be from "HMRC development". They then asked "what does your company do" - a question that a 20 second internet search could have provided. I hung up on them because it sounded like a scam, but it could just as easily be a (disingenuous, inept and ill-prepared) cold call for an R&D tax relief adviser.
