No one there when I answered . Tried calling back as thought it was a friend but clearly it’s dodgey.
Maybe they are legit but they called me at gone 8pm just for a survey that could've been an email! They call quite often too, personally I just ignore them.
I'd love to know how these people found my number and also how they concluded I've been in a car accident when I don't own a car.

I had a telephone call on 14/12/2015 from a male purporting to be from my professional body (British Psychological Society) claiming I had overpaid my subscriptions twice. initially he seemed plausible. He knew my surname, address, postcode and claimed I had paid by a debit card, which had expired (it hadn t and he gave the wrong last 4 digits.I hadn t as I pay via direct debit. Called this morning to arrange a free survey of my home - during lockdown!!
Caller hung up once the call was answered. This phone call was followed quickly by a second from another number that did the same.
If this is eon re a smart meter I’ll be incandescent with rage! It took me 20 emails to convince them to stop emailing me about one. We wanted one, but as there was no way we could receive the signal, the installer couldn’t complete the job. I begged them to update their customer records to no avail.
