My elderly Mum had a silent call from them. they are contravening Ofcom by either using answer machine detect incorrectly or by not leaving an abandoned call message. Does anyon...
They drop the call as soon as you pick uip the phone, obviously they want you to call back at your expense. Probably a call centre who have to keep their call numbers up to meet a contract so they call - a call is registered and they get paid whether or not there s a conversation.
