This was just a call to check how i was getting on with my new pet
Asian spoken gent called asking for personal details, when I quizzed him how he got my details & if he was calling on behalf of my bank, he hung up!!
This number called me but left no message when I ignored it.
SCAM Fake HSBC Bank txt Saying : HSBC : A New Payee request was created from an unrecognised device. You can Authorise or Cancel this request via : then a link to click I didn't click it as i never click anything like that The number comes up from a vodaphone mobile number so i have alerted vodaphone & HSBC that some scammer is pretending to be them I don't even bank with HSBC and IF i did i wouldn't be using the sim they txted as its my old p&g and im now on a contract
The automatic voice telling me that there is an investigation against me for the tax fraud in HM revenue and customs. If I do not proceed and choose option one on the keyboard I will be arrested straight away.
Have had 4 calls on 30/06/23 and 2 on 05/07-23 - do not know anyone in this area and am concerned as to how they got my number - have reported to Ofcom
I landline phoned appears to have blocked the call without allowing it to ring.

They also called me about 9 times this week and did not say anything I only heared heavy breathing and then they hung up. Who are they?

Called on a mobile device whose number I have never given out so must be a scam of some kind. How did they get my number?
