They rang claiming to be Virgin Media, they actually knew our name yet they knew nothing else and claimed there was a virus on our Windows computer, that old chestnut! I said we all had Linux computers and they put the phone down?
THIS IS A SCAM. I had a call from this number it was an automated recording advising that it was an investigating officer and that i had committed a criminal act of some sort back in January and that an officer will be coming to arrest me shortly and could i please confirm my details to help the prosses. im all most 100% sure that if i had committed a crime the police would have been in contact a lot sooner and would have not have told me i was a bout to get arrested definitely not by a automated service
