Scam call about Irish PPSN number fraud

Ive had this number call me four times this morning. I too am UOB ex staff. Typical UOB.

Did not pick up

It was auto call telling me my name was being used against a tax fraud and if i didn't press 1 the frraud would be sent in my name. I pressed 1 and was asked the reason for my call. i told him then he ask for my name which i gave then he said hang on while i look up uour name to bring up my files. Thinking about it now he may have been connecting to my phone. Could it be a scam

Just block it instead, if your phone allows it. There s no reason for you to miss other calls and messages because of these idiots.

I am from The Netherlands and this number calls me very often. However, I am always too late with answering my phone. I don t know anyone who lives in England, so I have no idea who this person may be. This is why I m really curious who this person/company is. Harrassment call. Too many of calls to my mobile are harrassment callers. This is the third number I have had calls from today and it is only 9.55 am.

As for the others, claimed to be from HMRC and said I would be arrested shortly if I didn t press 1. Obvious scam despite the well-spoken English middle class accent recorded in the message played.
