Fraud He made me fall in love with him. Told me he had a £370,000 contract in Turkey to sign. But, after checking out the hotel (how did he pay the bill) had an accident on way to airport. And wanted me to pay the hospital bill and flights home. Mind you he was a businessman. Who would go abroad without their credit/debit cards and travel insurance. Caller said he was from ee & because my bills were always paid on time he could offer me a 30% discount. He then asked how much my last payment was. I suggested he tell me the answer to the question & he replied that he worked in promotion not billing. I then asked him to tell me my name & he said "You don't know your own name? What are you? scammers!... automated message suggesting your bank card has been used to purchase goods not done by the card holder. Just hang up as there is no identification to suggest they are real and there are no confirmed names or card details to ensure it is you or your card. All very open to you giving them more information should you decide to press any buttons and engage with them!

SCAM - Apparently they were from Sky trying to test my broadband speed. Notwithstanding I am not with Sky, I asked them to tell me my own name and postcode and they hung up. How rude! I assume the next step would be to access my computer to 'fix' the issue.
