annoying,constantly being called by this number even though I ignore it.

A woman from this number with a clearly Liverpool, masquerading as a number local to me, has *repeatedly* called me... when I answered this time, she said that her company, CR Assist had tried repeatedly to get hold of me with regards to my accident. When I told her that I'd not had an accident, and where was she calling from as it was obviously not Shrewsbury as via the dialling code, she hung up one me. Blocked!!!

SCAM. Yet another call from the same Manchester area where there seems to be a massive call organisation. These callers never leave a message and only let the phone ring for a very short time. In view of all the other calls I have had from the same location I am assuming this # is yet another scam. In my view any genuine caller would leave a message.

The number called from was not 839, the number was 849. the 849 number was not listed. The 849 number said they were the I. R. S.. "SCAM" Was the call from England or Ohio?

Fraudsters claiming to be "Rapid Advice Specialists" who had obtained my number from "the Traffic Accident Department" (!) which keeps, so they claimed, a record of all road accidents in the UK (!)

Luke Ballantyne was listed as a Director of HML Consultants but resigned in November 2019, with Sarah Aldrige appointed as a Director in the same month. Ballantyne is listed as a Director of 'Home Cover Group Limited' yet another company offering extended warranties for home appliances. Their telephone number is 0333 2125609.
