Automated call, just noise
The calling person pretends being from Microsoft and tries to convince the called that his/her Windows computer has been hacked. Likely a scam / fraud attempt.

Apex debt collector company,phone 3/4 or even more times in a single day and off different numbers even when you tell them you dont know the person they are after.Very anoying.
These people are getting fly and calling on local numbers - couldn't even get my name remotely right and hung up on me - bonus

An electronic message that I could not understand, 'female' voice and to the effect that there was some sort of problem in relation to my Amazon account and my bank account and that I should press 1 to call Amazon (or something very similar).

Callback from "Green Deal Funding" after I decided to find out who in the UK was behind the numerous "International" recorded messages pitching "Green Deal Funding". Caller had Scottish type of accent and the background noise sounded like a call centre. Wouldn t give me any details about who the company was - just that they would pass my number to them for them to contact me. They also said they would take my number off the phoning list.

They also call from 01625342966 - claiming to be from Morgan Cooper and same response when called back, agents are busy etc. The area code is Macclesfield but there is no business by that name found in that area
