I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. Fraud Called today to me living in Norway. When I spoke Norwegian they hang up :-) Sounded like they called from a callcenter. Lots of speaking in the background. Probably wanted to scam me.

Spammed 30 odd calls and never left a message. Eventually answered and a girl asked if I was interested in an accounting role. I said yes to see if things were legitimate and she hung up immediately after I answered. Something dodgy, without a doubt.

SCAM - the caller called my private mobile number and asked for someone else. When I responded that I did not know the person asked for, the caller wanted me to give my name, address, date of birth, marriage status so that he could "verify that I was not the person he was demanding to speak to". When I refused he bEcame very aggressive and stated that this was a legal requirement and I could be prosecuted. FRAUDULENT SCAMMER - AVOID THIS CALLER

stated was a legal copany wanting to deal with personal injury claim. Hadd loads of details about accident. Told caller that already in hands of solicitors and broke off conversation. Wonder where they get the information from?

SCAM 769256245 is the number dialled when I tried to voice call the sender of a Phishing scam text message claiming to be from "RoyalMail" which contained a dodgy link to arrange delivery of a fictional "Bezos Limited" parcel. The text was forwarded to NCSC Phishing Reports on 7726.
